Model Material

You hear it daily... "I'm not pretty enough to be a model" or "you're not model material".To deal with this we first need to differentiate between 'model' and 'eye candy'.

mod·el [mod-l] Show IPA noun, adjective, verb, mod·eled, mod·el·ing or ( especially British ) mod·elled, mod·el·ling.
noun

1. a person or thing that serves as a subject for an artist, sculptor, writer, etc.

2. a person whose profession is posing for artists or photographers.
eye candy
 n
1. a person who is or people considered highly attractive to look at, often implying that they are but lacking in intelligence or depth

2. something intended to be attractive to the eye without being demanding or contributing anything essential
A 'model' is any person, animal or item that serves as raw material for artistic inspiration... that's you! You don't have to be 5'10 and anorexic with luscious locks, you just have to stand in front of an artist and let him/her do his thing. Everyone has a quality that's sought after by someone and thereby art worthy.
Whether you are modeling for nude art or sporting this seasons latest beekeepers helmet... you have what it takes so get out there and model!
